Biography
Oyeyemi Lekan-Osunmakinde was born in Lagos State of Nigeria and
married with kids.
Her career objectives are to contribute her best to the
development of the Organisation and to utilise available
opportunities for her personal growth and development in her chosen
career.
She obtained her BL degree from the Nigeria Law School, Bwari
Abuja in 1999 after graduating with LLB degree from the Lagos State
University (LASU) IN 1995/96 with a second class lower division.
She obtained a National Diploma in Business Administration at the
Polytechnic, Ibadan (Iree Campus) 1987-88, Osun State. In 1985 she
obtained the Advanced Level ( A/L) certificate at Igbobi College
Lagos. Her Secondary Education was at Maryland Secondary School
(II) where she completed her class five in 1983 and obtained her
West African School Certificate (WASC).
In 2007, Oyeyemi attended the Nigerian Institute of Advanced
Legal Studies (NIALS), Lagos. She was inducted into a Professional
Associate Membership of the Institute of Public Association of
Nigeria (IPAN). Presently, she is a member of the Institute of
Leadership and Supervision.
During her days in LASU as a student, she was the Vice President
of the Law Student Association. Twelve years after she graduated
from LASU, in the year 2008 to be precise, she was given a
recognition award, in recognition of her Humanitarian Support
towards Socio Academic Excellence.
In the year 2003-2006, she worked as litigation Head at the Law
Firm of Segun Fowowe & Co, where she worked as Head of Legal
Department. From 2002-2003, she worked as Head of Legal Department
at the Law Firm of Bisi Ademuwagun & Co. From 2001-2002, she
also worked as legal officer for Abu Steve & Co council.
Oyeyemi presently heads the Legal Department of the Lagos State
Signage & Advertisement Agency, she is also a member of the
Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON)
