LASAA visits The Sun Newspapers

On Wednesday July 7th 2010, The Managing Director of
the Agency , Mr. Makanjuola Alabi led a delegation from the
Corporate Affairs/PR Department on a condolence visit to Sun
Newspaper Limited in Apapa, Lagos. The visit was necessary to
express LASAAs sympathy following the fire incidednt which occured
in the premises of the media outfit recently.
On hand to receive the LASAA team was the Managing
Director/Editor -In-Chief, Mr. Tony Onyima. He thanked the LASAA
team for the visit to the media organisation .He expressed delight
concerning the many acheivements of LASAA within the short period
of its existence and promised to explore other areas of mutually
benefitting relationship with LASAA .
In his response, the Managing Director of LASAA, Mr. Alabi
thanked the host, Mr. Tony Onyima for his kind words about the
Agency.He urged the management of Sun Newspaper to keep up the good
work of objective reporting . He advised the leadership of Sun
Newspapers to remain focused despite the mishap. The visit was
later concluded with some photograph sessions.
